Happy Birthday to me!
My parents found a way to make me feel freaking GREAT about finally hitting that very grown up age of 30:
They sent me 30 long stemmed roses. If having decadent quantities of roses flown in from Equador and delivered to me by a nice UPS man is the kind of milestone I can expect in my 30s, this decade is going to be KILLER.
Actually, I feel wonderful today. At 30, I feel the right to consider myself A Force to Be Reckoned With, instead of a humble little 20something. Calloo callay!!
Soon I’m going to hit the beach with my one true love, take a run, get my nails done, and maybe find a new top. Then I’ll wind up my day with romantic wining and dining, followed by exotic cocktails with friends.
The best thing in the world is friends and family who know exactly how to make you feel like you, and no one else, are definitely the luckiest girl around.
Ahem. The luckiest woman around. :-)

Happy birthday!
Love your attitude about turning 30, wish I could have been so positive about it. Personally, I decided that it was best to stop counting at 29!
