What’s in my fridge? Let’s see…
Top Shelf
1. Brummel & Brown Yogurt Spread (at least 6 months old; I hardly ever use the stuff)
2. 2 half lemons, starting to dry out: Whoops!
3. Two stacked containers of crumbled fat-free feta (I use this almost every day on salad)
4. Two red bell peppers
5. Large container fresh salsa
6. Spanish green olives (great snacks)
7. Fake eggs (another staple)
8. Heavy cream (my roommate’s from Finland and likes to add heavy cream to, well, many things. thus i have learned that heavy cream = tasty.)
Middle Shelf:
8. Real eggs (for baking, mostly)
9. Whole-wheat and low-carb tortillas (we’re on a kick where we make these into pizzas every night for dinner with prosciutto and pineapple)
10. fresh basil (for the ‘lil pizzas, mostly)
11. fresh mushrooms in plastic sandwich bag (more pizza toppings)
12. fresh sage (for a recipe I made three weeks ago; yep, this is going to go bad before I get to it)
13. more salsa
14. skim and two-percent milk (mine and my roommie’s, respectively)
15. fresh pineapple in tupperware (pizza topping)
16. olive tapenade (for crackers and salads)
Bottom Shelf:
17. Red bull (breakfast for my roommie; Saturday morning beach run enabler for me)
18. fat free cottage cheese (uh, i hope that hasn’t gone bad)
19. Chyawanprash (tasty Indian paste for mixing into hot milk; it’s got like 30 ingredients including gooseberry, clove, ghee, cardamom, raisins, Bengal quince, and, uh, asparagus. LOVE this stuff)
20. fresh asparagus
21. tupperware containing yucky salty “village” cheese we got at Costco and don’t know what to do with but feel guilty about throwing away.

My fridge is scarey and I don’t want to go in there…I think you have convinced me that it is time to clean it out again!
