Have you tried to make something “healthy” or just something to use up the odds and ends in the fridge and had the experiment go horribly awry? Or had a surprise success?
Yesterday I was cleaning out the fridge and stirred together a concoction of brown rice, light goat cheese, marinated artichokes, grated carrots, and spaghetti squash. It was a sad, pasty color. So I tasted it. Too sour, unsatisfying texture. Overall, yuck. I was about to throw it away, but then I opened the fridge again. I added a tablespoon of raisins and two tablespoons of walnuts. Stirred and presto… delicious! Still on the fugly side, but satisfying and tasty.
