Boo to Cover Girl for running Jaslene’s spots during America’s Top Model. (I wrote this two days ago and forgot to post it! Also, I tried to find video but couldn’t.) I know she insists she’s not anorexic. OK. But I still think Cover Girl should think twice before using ads where the model looks like her head’s going to fall off her toothpick body. I’m not usually hyper-critical of the fashion industry — the whole business seems a bit freakish to me, so freakishly thin models fit right in — but it’s almost like Cover Girl’s trying to pull a No.li.ta. Besides which, Cover Girl, available to every preteen at a Rite Aid near you, isn’t exactly high fashion.
She does look skinnier than I remember on the show, but I only saw a couple of episodes. Is she thinner than normal model thin, or does she just not wear it well? Does she look fashionable or sick?
My money’s on sick.

I think that this girl is distrubing to look at. No one really mentions her that much, but the pictures of her are highly shocking.
