Since starting this site, a full 70 percent of the traffic that’s come via Google has had exactly the same search term: “how to stay skinny.”
Seventy percent, folks. And I bet 99 percent of them are disappointed when they get here and they don’t find a diet that promises Point A to Point B in a jiffy.
On a more positive note, it’s interesting that the search term that lands people here is “how to stay skinny,” not how to get skinny. In point of fact, the post “Eat Pasta, Stay Skinny” is why this site is a match. But coincidentally, the focus of this site is definitely on staying skinny, not getting skinny. That doesn’t meant that there isn’t advice and discussion here to support weightloss. It means that it’s the kind of advice that will not just get you healthy, but allow you to stay healthy once you’re there. The whole idea is to cultivate good eating as one important limb of a balanced mind&body–then watch the pounds drop off as an afterthought.
But who am I kidding? Google tells us the truth: How we look drives more physical transformations than how we feel. But I’d guess that those who focus on how they feel don’t just get skinny, they stay there.
Welcome to a site offering tools and support to help you cultivate and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. The flying trapeze stands for strength, equanimity, focus — the tools that allow us to do the seemingly impossible with graceful ease.
